Brides who are seeing FH before the ceremony...

What are you doing about your rings? I don't want us to put our wedding bands on before the ceremony (obviously) and have been thinking about our photos. I initially planned to wear my engagement ring on my right hand that day, but as I think about photos, it might look weird. Do we both just forgo any rings in the pre-ceremony photos? Do I wear my e-ring? Right hand? Left hand?

I'm so confused

I'm wearing my e ring on my left hand until the ceremony- I will switch it to the right until my wedding band is on. I'm not going to be looking for the rings in the wedding shots though.

No need to stress - just switch it over when you get the chance

Why wouldn't you wear your engagement ring in pre-ceremony photos? I would just take it off for vows and the wedding bands exchange and then slip it back on afterward.

oh wow i never even thought of this!! i guess ill have them take the pics with our hands in them after the ceremony because i dont want them in pics before were really married either

I wore my E ring in the left hand for pre ceremony pics and then put it on the right before walking down the aisle then right after I put the e ring back.

that's true

i hadnt thought of this but ill probably just keep it on my left hand and move it to my right after the ceremony - we are going to be doing SOME pics after the ceremony so it's not a big deal

I just wore my engagement ring the way I always did, didn't even notice in the pics really that I was missing the wedding band or anything. I also forgot to move it to my other hand during the ceremony, so I just swapped them afterwards. No biggie.
