Brides who didn't change last names ...

... did you have to do anything special or extra to get a marriage license?? FH and I will have to get our next week and I just don't want any surprises -- do we need to bring anything besides ID's?

You will need your birth or baptismal certificate or your passport along with your license. They ask you there whether you plan on changing your last name or not after the wedding.
