Brides who got their dress at Bridal Reflections...

When they calculated the price of the dress did they add the alterations when you placed your order and gave a deposit? I just went for my fitting a few days ago - they charged me for my alterations at the fitting but for some reason I thought they added the alterations (they cap it at $245) when I ordered the dress originally. If anyone remembers - please let me know! Thanks! Good luck everyone!

All the charges for the dress should be itemized on the order form for your dress. Do you recall the original price? I didn't get my dress yet, but I worked at a bridal salon and that is how we did it there. Do you have the original receipt? If you have a question, you should ask the manager to explain the costs to you and when/where they were applied. Hope it works out! Diana

My alterations were added after my first fitting. It would be impossible to add them on to the cost of the dress when you ordered it because they wouldn't know what to charge you until you put your dress on at your fitting.

The alterataions were not added to my original bill when I placed the order. On the other side of the receipt, bottow left hand corner, they put the caps for alterations and bustles.

It was definately on my original bill as a seperate line item. WATHC THEM ON ALTERATION CHARGES! They tried to add an additional $200 to underbustle my train. My receipt clearly stated a cap for alterations plus a specific charge for the bustle. It was straightend out when I went to the store manager. My gown came out beautiful I loved it!

For some reason I thought they automatically charged a set price for alterations when they ordered the dress. On my original receipt it is not itemized. It just has the price of the dress (not sure if they added the set price for alterations) and tax. Maybe I`m wrong!

My receipt indicates the toal cost of my dress, with tax, and then subtracts the 50% deposit we made on it. It hasn't come in yet. The lower left states there's a cap on alterations of $245 and an additional fee fro bustle of $95 (both these will include tax as well).
