BRIDES WHO HAD 2 PHOTGS
Re: BRIDES WHO HAD 2 PHOTGS
I used to work as a second shooter and I really think one is enough. I would have booked one but the photographer that I booked happened to want to bring a 2nd person who is really his assistant. I don't think you need to worry!

I booked two because FH is the WORST at taking pics so I'm hoping at least some candids come out nice of him...
Re: BRIDES WHO HAD 2 PHOTGS
I would recommend having a 2nd photog only if you are planning to have 1 photog take your photos for the getting ready pics and have the 2nd photog take FH's pics. This is good for a wedding of 100 guests+. I had 2 photogs for my wedding and I was really happy with the decision. I was able to see both photog's work- journalistic and traditional. And though I love traditional photos, the journalistic style was amazing as well. Also, having a 2nd photographer makes it easier to get most shots for your wedding so they don't miss the important details that are mean a lot to you. However, if this photographer has a lot of experience and received awards and phenomenal reviews from numerous weddings then stick with one.

Also consider how many guest you are having. I feel one is sufficient if you are having 100-200 guest. I think if you are having more than 200, maybe consider a 2nd photographer for the candids, etc. JMO

Photography was really important to me, so we're having 2. One will go with FH while he is getting ready, one will come with me and then we have two sets of eyes on every aspect of the wedding. During the ceremony one will be shooting us, the other shooting 'crowd reactions'...then both will be at the reception and I won't miss any of those great photographic moments!
