Brides who had or having outdoor cocktail hour

I was supposed to have an outdoor ceremony but looks like thats not happening anymore So I want to do the CH outside but my mom is worried because our hall is by the water we may attract alot of mosquitos and flies in the evening.

Anyone have any bad experiences with this?

Im also having a chocolate fountain for the CH, do you think that will be a problem? We will have a tent set up so the chocolate fountain can go under there.

I would talk to the place your getting married in. Maybe they take certain percautions to make sure this doesnt happen. Our CH is outside and inside and there is a lake there but I dont remember any problems will we were looking at it and I believe it was hot out, dont really remember sorry.

if a place has problems with bugs - thye usually find a solution for it - mosiqetos can be taken care with mosequtoe magnet - and i have seen them at halls on the water - a good place will fix that problem for you

as for the chocalate - you may need traps for bees - i would talk to your hall - about what they can do and have
