Ok seriously, was it difficuly to dance in your gown? Were you worried about it falling down all night while you were dancing??? Were you picking it up at the top all night??? I know they usually alter/tailor them pretty well, but I'm just beginning to wonder... TIA

Re: Brides Who Had Strapless Gowns...
It's funny because I didn't even want to try on a strapless dress for that reason!!
But of course the first one I tried on, I fell in love with and knew it was THE ONE.
I wore a Maggie so I was tied in VERY tight and had no problems and I think I only felt like pulling it up once and really had no reason too (it was also still so snug I didn't even need to).

Mine did not bother me once all night. The funny thing was my mom's boss (a male) commented to my mom how I never bothered with it. He was comparing against the BM's in strapless and my mom who wore strapless. Said he noticed everyone else adjusting it except the bride. Mine was comfy and fit perfectly.

I was fine too - I danced all night, got dipped and the whole nine and my dress did not move. I had them alter it a bit tight on top just for that reason.

Mine has this elastic contraption that will hold me in really tightly. I think that some strapless come with the elastic contraption..you should look into it.

I didn't have ANY problems with me gown at all. I had also been worrying about the same thing, but it was fine.

I am worried about the same thing, b/c I am sometimes uncomfortable in strapless tops.
I am going to have them sew removable straps in my dress. I will put them on if I start to feel uncomfortable. Sometimes its just all in my head anyway, but if its going to make me feel better..

Just like WC0143.....I also had a Maggie Sottero Corsett style dress and I had no problems dancing. I don't even remember picking it up. What I loved about my dress was that I was the corsett style. I was comfortable the whole night.

I had no problems with my stapless gown all night and through much dancing too. The dresses usually have boning that runs through the whole bodice to keep it up and when altered well it should fit like a glove.

I had a Maggie also - I was so in that dress I didnt have to worry about falling out or dancing the entire night.

I didn't even think about mine. It was very comfortable and I was dancing all night long.
