Brides who have or will make donations as favors

Assuming you put out a card describing what you did for each guest, how did you word it? I want it to be meaningful, but it's looking pretty morbid with the direction of my wording.

It depends on the organization you are donating to. Many organizations have premade cards that they give out when someone donates. See if your organization has these cards and you can take the wording from there and mix it with your own words to make a great card. You can also think of making it on individual scrolls instead of a card wrap it up in ribbon and give one to each couple, this will make a more elegant appearance than the card will.

We made scrolls, and wrote:

With much thought and consideration a donation in your honor has been made to the Don Monti Memorial Research Foundation.

The Don Monti Memorial Research Foundation is dedicated to the ultimate goal of eradicating cancer.

This donation is in lieu of a traditional wedding favor, as we feel that the finest gift is one that helps others live long and healthy lives.

Thank you for being a part of our wedding day.

All of our love,
