For those of you who are taking pics before the ceremony, how did you arrange that 'first moment' where you saw your FH and he saw you? There's something very special about the bride walking down the aisle and the groom seeing her for the first time. Unfortunately, we'll have taken pics for two hours before the ceremony and still want to capture a bit of the magic when we first see each other. Anyone do anything special, or can recommend something? Thanks!

But how did you do it? For example, did your FH stand with his back towards you, and you walked out and the phtog asked him to turn around?
Or, did he stand looking at a staircase and you came cascading down?
Or??

Re: Brides who took pics BEFORE the ceremony
My reception hall kind of sets it up. I'm going to get dropped off by the limo and they are going to 'hide me away' in the bridal suite. Then FH is going to get there and they are going to set up a moment for us where he comes in and we kind of share our moment together in the bridal suite... You can have your photographer take pics of it all happening too...

Re: Brides who took pics BEFORE the ceremony
We had our wedding at Crest Hollow. The 'first look' was in the bridal suite. The photographers and bridal attendant told DH in advance I was coming. He had his back turned, the photographers set up their shot so they could get pics, and then he was told to turn around. Click!

Most common thing I have seen is the groom standing with his back to your entrance and you walk up and tap him on the shoulder and he turns around and sees you. Your photographer can capture the moment.
If you have a videographer, they often capture the moment too.

Your photographer and videographer usually will set it up. Just make sure that you don't bump into each other before they are ready.
I came down the stairs and DH had his back towards me... it was awesome

DH was standing in front of the Chuppah with his back to me and I walked to him - the photographer arranged it. We used three pictures from that moment as a page in our album. Between the two photographers, it worked out well:

We're going to do it where FH is standing with his back towards me as I walk towards him. I think it will make for great pictures because its just the 2 of us and ht ephotographers so it will be really intimate

We're going to have me walk down the stiarcase and he will have his back turned till I am halfway down. The photographer will be there so he will signal and then FH will turn and see me-alot like these pictures.

Re: Brides who took pics BEFORE the ceremony
My photographer promised to make it very special. He plans to have me walk down the stairs from the bridal suite to my FH whose back will be to me. He said he does it all the time and the shots are amazing. i can't wait!
