I have a question for all of the ladies who have used Vinny of High Voltage Sounds...did you have a light show at your wedding? My wedding is a night wedding and I think we want to have one, but I'm not sure if I should get the basic light show or the Intelligent light show. Vinny said that the Intelligent light show really doesn't work correctly if you don't have smoke and I don't think Villa Lombardi's allows that. Anyone have the basic show? Was it cheesy?

I had the basic light show b/c I had about 120 guests, and was in a small room.
Depending on the size of the room, number of guests, that should determine whether or not it's good to have.
Vinny's a professional - he knows what he's talking about, and he's definitely not advising you incorrectly.

I had the basic light show and thought it was just fine for me. I am not sure the difference between the 2 but I would trust Vinny's opinion on this one. What exactly are you looking for in a light show? The basic was just enough to compliment the music and create a fun atmosphere. HTH

I had a small dark room at Fox Hollow for my wedding and added the basic light package and would recommend it. It's not a crazy in-your-face type of club lighting and adds a nice touch to the room. Definitely listen to Vinny - he is very honest and knows what's best for each hall and room set up.
