Brides who've done their registry please help!

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could please help... Without really going into too much detail, does anyone know if ANY department stores, (anyplace from Kohl's, to JC Penny, to Bloomingdales) not really picky, that allow you to return and get money for items on your registry that you got as gifts but may not really want/need/have the space for... etc.

I have heard that some BBB's allow cash back... but I don't know which ones

BBB did. We got 4 extra boxes of wine glasses, 2 sets of the same bathroom set, and a piece of luggage 2. FH returned in yesturday and got close to $400 back

yup! my friend returned a coffee maker that she got for her wedding 2 1/2 years ago without the box or receipt, obviously it's been used, but it was broken (and she thinks she actually got it from her fortunoff's registry). They actually gave her cash for it! (more than it was listed as when it was bought)
