Bridesave.com shipped my gown - 2 months early!

I heard they were very good about getting things in on time or under, but I was shocked when I got the email saying it shipped on Friday - it was schedule to arrive in early August.

Go bridesave!

You will think I am insane, but this is what I did:

I couldn't find the dress anywhere - it's from last year's line and no one was selling it. So I measured myself, then added THREE sizes just to be sfe, plus I've lost 13 lbs since then. Then I ordered an extra yard of fabric.

Now I still may not liek the way it looks on me, but I've tried on similar-styled clothes (wrap shirts, straight skirts) and like them, so I'm hoping....

My reception is just a 'cocktail reception' so I didn't want a traditional gown, I wanted something a little less formal, and with some sleeves, so this fit the bill for me perfectly.

If I get the dress and don't like it I will have one made. I hope I don't have to though.

I know! I'm totally crazy! I didnt't know what else to do - I should have gone to a tailor to get measured

Well, at least I hope it's too big and then can be taken in. Hope springs eternal!!
