Re: BRIDESMAID
JMHO, I think if you are having your other sisters in your wedding, it would be nice to have ALL Of them in the wedding. I know if I were the only sister not asked to be in the wedding, I would take it extremely personally and probably would not speak to that sister ever again, because she is letting me know exactly how she feels about me by not asking me to be in the wedding.
I dont always get along with both of my sisters, BUT they ARE my sisters and it would not be the same without BOTH of them in the wedding.
Again, JMHO, i think you should really consider having ALL or NONE of your sisters in the wedding with you.

Re: BRIDESMAID
i would DIE if my sister didnt have me in her wedding but had my other sisters. no matter how close you are, other people in life may come and go but no matter how horrible your sister is shes always your sister and since u are considering this i am sure she is not that horrible.
as far as ugliness goes, i am sure you realize that with makeup, hair and a dress she would be a lovely bm and if your party is so big then no one would notice the 'ugly duckling.'

I gotta agree with the girls, there is no just way NOT TO HAVE YOUR SISTER. I don't care how old she looks, how close she is with you, you still should have her.

yeah I agree too. No matter what when it comes down to it she is still your sister, and who knows maybe this will help you two build a better relationship. But if you have your other sisters in the BP she will probably feel horrible being excluded

Re: BRIDESMAID
I have both my sisters in my party. I could not just ask one and not the other, I would feel terrible. Def put her in, she is your sis, ugly or pretty she is still your sis. Does she care at all that you have not already asked her?

You have to ask her.....as a mother I know that not only will you hurt your sister terribly, but your mom will be hurt for her too.

Re: BRIDESMAID
I think you should ask her to be in your BP, this could be the thing that brings you two closer. I hope everythig works out and even with a 20 person BP, one more won't kill you. GL

Re: BRIDESMAID
I can kinda relate...I don't have FH's two sisters in the wedding. i do not get along with his one sister...so I did not ask her. I did ask the other sister, who said 'yes' originally, then changed her mind because she did not want to hurt her sisters feelings. I have been getting hell for this the entire year from his family. I wish I would have just put her in it...ayway....I would ask your sister....she is your sister and you will probably regret it as the time gets closer.....good luck....

Re: BRIDESMAID
you may want to consider having her since she is your sister. But we don't know you or your situation. But it may be a nice gesture. Or ask her if she would rather be a BM or do a reading and leave it up to her to decide?

Re: BRIDESMAID
I was in the same situation.......my younger sister is my MOH (which she shouldn't be, b/c she could care less about me or my wedding, she's a total selfish biitch), and my older sister is very heavy, and if she were in my wedding I would probably have to change what I wanted for my BM dresses to help make her look better. But as we've gotten older we got much closer, and I asked her b/c it was the right thing to do. She absolutely refused!!! She's very shy, and she said that's why she got married at city hall b/c she didn't want the attention on her! She won't even do a reading (really bad stage fright - she would probably throw up!). My point is, it's the right thing to do to ask both sisters. The other one may not want to be in the bridal party for her own reasons, and then you can ask her to do a reading if she doesn't want to be in the BP.
