Bridesmaid dilemma

Bridesmaid dilemma

My FH insisted that he have 5 GM including 2 Best Men (Don't ask). I have 4 BM and I was fine with that, have been thinking about maybe asking one more to make it even. My mom tells me that I have add my 20 year old cousin as my 5th bridesmaid. I'm 29 and with the exception of my sister (MOH) whose going to be 21 everyone else is my age or older. Plus I see my cousin once a year, so we're not exactly close. What do you think I should do?

i think you should do what's in your heart. it is your day and you should
have peple who you are close to and who will be there for you. if you are not
close with your cousin then don't bother and i think you are right about her
being too young. believe me i have gotten the same grief about it, but
not from my family, but by his family. His aunt was shocked that i was
only having his youngest sister (who will be 21 by our wedding day) in my
bridal party. PLEASE THE MAN HAS 5OF THEM, I COULDN'T USE ALL
5 AND MY OTHER 7 FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and besides she is the one i am
closest to and he is already having his 2 brothers and 2cousins.
trust me, don't try to make everyone happy cuz it won't work!!!!!!!!!!
GOOD LUCK

I second that...Do what you think is best. IMO...Your BP should be people that are really close to you. I have an uneven BP, one more guy...I would rather it be uneven that put a girl in just for the sake of it 'looking' better to some people. These days the BP are not what they used to be. Do what you want it is your day. You have to look back in this day for ever...not anyone else

I originally had an uneven bridal party but then my sil is now pregnant and dropped out of it and now it is even.

Definitely do what you want! I dont' think it matters if it's even or not... My fmil wanted her niece, who I never met in my BP, but I told her it would be awkward, specifically because I never met her and my FH doesn't have a great relationship with her. She told me to think about it, but then never asked, I think she realized that it's my wedding and people in your BP should be those that are important to you.

I don't think it matters either. Do what you want. we have an uneven bridal party because we have 5 men and 6 women. 1 guys will be a stud and walk 2 ladies down the aisle.
