Bridesmaid Dress

I am a BM at my very very very good friends wedding in September. She picked out a lovely dress in a plum color. However, it looks terrible on me. All 4 of the other girls are 4-5 sizes smaller than me. I would never ever complain to her or not wear it, but I'm totally bummed.

aww! well as long as the bride is happy with the way everyone looks in it! sorry your not happy with it

I was in a wedding two weeks ago where I wasn't thrilled with the dress. It made me look like a whale! Unfortunately there is nothing I could do about it.

So sorry, that is my biggest fear - I want my BMs to be comfortable - I have girls that are size 2 - 18.

Same here.... the reason i picked the dress i did was because of the way it flows... it allows people to eat and drink and not have to constantly suck it in all day and night... I hate that

im sorry...i know it stinks but i have been there too...last summer i was a bm and all 7 of us HATED the dress...the color, style, everything about it....but thats what she wanted us to wear so we did. it stinks bc we all felt uncomfortable all day wearing it

So sorry I'm sure you are going to look great though!
This is the reason I'm picking comfy dresses for my girls and they have a good say in the final decision
