Hey everyone. So I am having a VERY difficult time trying to pick a color for my bridesmaids dresses. I originally wanted pink, but a lot of the pinks I have found are either like bubblegum or barbie, or look like they should be like back in the 80s. My sister is very fair skinned, so we can't have anything too light on her or she would look washed out. I'm not completely set on pink, but I can't seem to find any other color that I like. I don't want anything too light bc of my sister, and I don't want like a black or anything too dark because my wedding is in August. I also don't want anything that is like cheap looking, which seems to be how a lot of the dresses are. Does anyone have any particular designer or dress color or store that they liked for a summer wedding that fits these descriptions?

Alfred Angelo has a few amazing shades of pink. Not too dark, not too light, not too bright.. I originally wanted pink too, and was having the same problem you described. I would check them out before giving up on pink. David's Bridal also has a few nice shades of pink.
Forever Yours has some GORGEOUS pinks and gorgeous dresses as well.

Re: Bridesmaid Dress color
Would you consider seperates and maybe go for a white top with a pink skirt? That way you'd still have your pink without worrying whether or not it'd compliment your sister's skintone bc the white is what would be by her face. Just a thought!
I'm doing a sage green color with purple flowers. I just loved the way it looked in this pic. I've changed my colors like 50 times...so don't feel bad. Just keep looking at pics...it helped me decide. You'll find something...
One of my Bridal Party Girls and I have a whitest white girl in America club...and she's wearing Cobalt blue...it looked REALLY nice on her. It isn't too harsh...it worked nicely with her eyes & pale skin tone!
