My friend who lives in Vegas, happened to gain a lot of weight, so when she received the dress last week, it doesnt fit. Her seamstress told her she needs all the material she can possibly get.
So now, she has to wait for the rest of my bridesmaids to get fitted for their dresses....
So now I have to wait for their dresses to be hemmed so I can get the material from them and then mail the extra to Vegas and have the seamstrses add it on to hers.....somethings telling me....theres not much time on this.
What a f'n headache! ???

THis happened to one of my BMs, but she never told me
I noticed when she walked through the door on the morning of the wedding and her gown was 5 inches too high, pinched at the waste, and drooping at the bust.
But, she had a shawl and kept herself covered all day.
Can you order a shawl or 2 in the same color and ship them out to her to use as extra fabric?

If that was me boy I would run that treadmill everyday to fit into that dress instead of having material shipped from NY!

Well....according to her its Slimfast Shakes.....but Im not sure how long that will take.

That happened to my cousins MOH...She gained about 30-40 pounds between the time she was measured and the first fitting
That had to put a HUGE dart in the dress...it looked rediculous

Can you write to the company and just order a piece of fabric?
I ordered extra fabric when my dress came so I could have a jacket made.

could you ask the dress shop to order extra material and rush order it.
my bridal shop had to order material fast because the manufator sent the dress with the wrong color on the top of the dress.
It didnt really take that long for the extra material to get to the shop....maybe a wk

I got them from Bridal Suite of Patchogue....I dont think they will be capable of a rush order for me like this as one headache is enough.........thats why Im probably better off waiting for the rest of the girls....

I would only suggest this to her if she is unhappy and wants to lose the weight, but South Beach diet works great and its fast. So she could totally lose 15-20 lbs by the time of your wedding. I actually have kept all my weight off for over a year and I'm still maintaining. There's a book she can buy and if she follows it perfectly, it will work.

I'm in a wedding this saturday and my dress still doesn't fit and on top of all that, the bride dyed all our shoes and mine shrunk so now I have a dress that won't close and shoes that won't slip on.
