Bridesmaid Dress Poll

I really like light grey bridesmaids dresses with purple flowers. My girls love this dress but this is the only light grey it comes it. So..is it too light for an August wedding?

Who makes this dress? It looks very similar to the dresses I want, plus I'm interested in doing shades of grey (no pun intended).

Bari Jay 555... It looks amazing on all sizes!! There is a darker shade called shadow.

I love purple and gray together! My girls are wearing pewter (looks kind of charcoal to me) and will be carrying purple flowers. This dress is beautiful, the color is definitly light but I don't think it can be 'too' light do august in my opinion.

It isn't too light for August, but how will it photography in sunlight? Some dress colors vary between sunlight and indoor light (dim).

I definitely don't think it's too light for August and it will look lovely with purple flowers. However, silver is my accent color and I was considering putting my MOH in a silver dress that matched my BMs' burgundy ones. My consultant made me re-think it. She said if a color is too light, it may wash out in photos. All your girls could look like they're wearing white (or worse, slightly dingy white).

I agree with everyone else. I love gray and purple together, very pretty. Also dont think its too light for august.

I agree! August is a summer month so you really can't get TOO light. Especially if you're doing purple flowers. It's going to look great.

I LOVE this color. If I were not doing a winter wedding I would definately consider a light grey. Looks beautiful in pictures!

This is so true. They don't have a sample in this color, only a swatch. How will I know how it will photograph?

Try going to Bari Jay's facebook page. Many brides post pictures of their bridal party, so many you can find the dress in this color.

That is what I would have suggested. I took my consultant at her word and ended up just going with burgundy for all my girls. I'll distinguish my MOH another way (the dress we went with didn't come in a silver/grey I liked anyway). If I had had my heart set on her in silver, I would have asked my photographer how it would photograph. Good luck!!
