Bridesmaid dress shopping???

Bridesmaid dress shopping???

SO I have less than 6 months left until the wedding and I still have not picked out bridesmaid dresses....Uggh! I am soo terrible! Anyway, I was wondering if you ladies could suggest a dress shop that has a large selection of BM dresses. I've seen that some shops only have a few. Also, Shops that have some reasonably priced options because I have some BM's that are on limited budgets and would hate to make them spend too much! Anyway!
Thanks!!!

If your BMs are on a budget, try the online and discount shops like RK Bridal, Pearl's Place, and NetBride after trying dresses on in a brick and mortar store. FTR, I got my Alfred Angelo dresses from Pearl's Place for 1/3 off retail and I was satisfied with the condition and timeliness of their arrival.

I went to Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. They have a large selection, but anywhere you go it just seems to be that BM dresses are pricey. If you want to stay away from those types of dresses you should think about doing tea length dresses...they seem to be less expensive.

Believe it or not, I'd try JC Penny's right off the rack. Alot of prom dresses don't look like prom dresses, but it's the season. Or for a more refined look, a beautiful suit (dress) with the elaborate beading on the jacket....JC Penny's has changed over the years....for the better & always very, very reasonable $$.

I had two problems when getting dresses for the MoH and BM- they were on a budget and also OOT.. we ended up going with David's Bridal and they were inexpensive (my SIL got her dress for only $80!) and also they were really dresses they can wear again.

I'd try Davids Bridal....they are quick, economical, and have a ton of styles and colors

I just went looking this weekend at Lilettes Bridal in Baldwin. They have long dresses starting at $139. They were great and had tons of choices, and best, they were really nice and not pushy!

I would try davids for a large size and style selection. Plus they have decent prices. HOWEVER my favorite is Helens bridal in Commack!

We did the same thing! We went with Alfred Angelo.

JT - Did you notice if the prices were actually cheaper at Fantasia? I seem to think so . . .

I would not use Paradise Bridal - but they do have a great selection of bridesmaids gowns on the racks - and then i would call around to see who has the best pricing :) - but check out like billlevkoff.com - i know they have alot of new stuff out for their new line and they are fairly inexpensive - i just ordered my girls #859 on that site and it was less than $175 a girl - not bad at all

I got mine from Priscilla of Boston in Roslyn and they were pretty reasonable. They had a large selection also. I hear Bridal Reflections has a lot too

David's Bridal had some great prices and so did Village Bridal in Babylon. You could also look at prom dresses since they may be a little cheaper

I recently went to RK Bridals in Manhattan last weekend. Very easy to get to, lots and lots of dresses, AND if you opt for the 'no frills' price, you can get away with a big discount.

My dresses were 150 and i saved 50 bucks just by having them not measure my girls at their shop.

I believe right now Ann Taylor is selling some of their bridesmaids dresses for $19.99. However it is buying off the rack.
