I am ordering a Bill Levkoff dress and I am wondering if anyone that has ordered his dresses know anything about the sizes. Whenever you are measured at a bridal shop, I feel like they order a size up so that you'll have to get the dresses altered. So, my question...were the dresses close to everyday clothing size for your girls or completely different? Any help is greatly appreciated!

the sizes are definitely off - I wear a street size 4 and my Bill Levkoff is a size 8. and she had to take out the chest, it was too tight on the girls

Really? My girls are wearing 803 (I think) and it seems like they are running maybe a sie bigger than actual sizes. My sister wears a 6 in everything, and they ordered her an 8. The bottom is perfect and the top is a smidge big (she''s definitely not well endowed)!!! My shop ordered them to fit the girls and all of them had minimal alterations.

I totaly agree, my bms are getting a much bigger size than they normally wear. None of them really don't want to admit that they have to order bigger size but they have to...

my girls' dresses were ordered about 2 sizes bigger than they actually are, and they all fit on the bottom and are all a little too big in the top (it's a two piece, tank style).

my girls had a line off bill levkoff and they were pretty true to size.... i know some bridal shops will order dresses a TON bigger to get u in alterations but there are also some that only order maybe a size bigger only because it's a LOT easier to take a dress in than it is to take it out (and cheaper on ur alt's)....if it's not that far off, i'd go with what they gave you, otherwise ask what measurements fit into the size they gave u & make sure it's matching up to yours! good luck!

Ours were about one size bigger for most of my BMs---one I think shop order way too big though!
MY MOH is wearing Bill Levkoff and I think she ordered one size up and it fit her perfectly. It doesn't look like she will be needing any alterations at all!
