Bridesmaid dress timeline?

My bridesmaids picked out their dresses in may/June. Some ordered then. Others waited till September. Two of the dresses I need ASAP bc the girls live out of town. The store just told me dec 20th. Is that normal or should I complain? I feel like that is cutting it so close, especially since people will be busy with the holidays.

My store told me that the girls dresses would take 5 months to come in. Did they have you rush order it?

ordered in early November from David's Bridal and was told Jan, but one came in last week. You can call and see if they can rush it, but there prob will be a fee.

I would call. I was told it would take about 5 months for the BM dresses to come in.. except mine came in like 2 months lol

Every place is different. The place I ordered from is taking 4 months. Give them a call and voice your concerns.

It all depends on the designer and their backup and when the salon places the order vs. when they say they will place the order.

6 months is average, although it usually comes in less time.

also, be careful is ordering dresses at different times because the material will not be from the same roll and the coloring could be slightly different. May not be noticable to anyone, but it may be.

many of the girls ordered their dresses in May. 2 ordered in September. The girl just told me they ordered all of them in September rather than separtely
