Bridesmaid dresses

I am finally going bm dress shopping tommorrow. I need a few suggestions of where to go in nassau or western suffolk. Do you usually need an appointment for bm dress shopping?

I would say try to make appointments b/c it is prom season and the salons are probably busy

We went to Burton's in Melville to look at BM dresses. You need an appointment there.

Yes I would suggest making appointments so you can have personalized assistance. Also it's Prom season so they may be VERY busy.

I HIGHLY recommend Helen's Boutique in Commack (part of Wedding World). This is where my BM dresses were bought and they have a great selection of Alfred Angelo and Jordan dresses and their prices are GREAT!!!

we went to Adriennes in Islip.. We did not need an appointment, but I recommend you get there when they first open so its not crowded.

we went to burtons as well with an appt. there was only one other bride there with her entourage. took up both fitting rooms. imo, thats a littel rude

but, in burtons defense, they told them they had to use only one room, so my bm's coudl try on the dress, and the place is sooo tiny

we got ours at bridal reflections in carle place... they have a pretty big selection of alvina valenta, bill levkoff, watters, jim hjelm. Their price was ok... we went with them rather than kleinfelds because they have a seamstress while the bridesmaids loft at kleinfelds does not have a seamstress. So far they have been pretty good. We did not have an appointment but we went during the week. I think u need an appt for saturday. We had this girl Diana help us and she is really sweet and helpful.

I am a MOH in my friends wedding and we ordered or dresses from Bridal Garden - they had nice dresses and the prices were good.

The Wedding Salon of Manhasset was giving across the board discounts on their BM dresses.

bridal suite in bayshore is where my MOH and mom and FG went. they had a great selection.

I second this!! I've been in there numerous times without an appointment and they have always been accomodating.

I went to Bridal Reflections to look (they have a huge selection) but do a search on here b4 ordering from them.

I also went to Renate's in Lindenhurst, another big selection & reasonable.

I then placed the order w/ Phyllis at gownfind & she saved us $$$
