So I really fell in love with a Jim Hjelm bridesmaid dress but it is way too pricey for me to ask the girls to purchase...I am curious what designers people are using? I am looking for something pretty classic looking, nothing too far otu! Thanks!

J Crew has great ones, and the prices are great if you can get them on sale. Ours were $99...check them out...and also ann taylor. Both have celebrations lines.

If you find a dress you love and you bring it to Davids Bridal or the wedding center in Commack, they can usually get the for a cheaper price.

I'm actually using Jim Hjelm but check out Bill Levkoff and Watters. Similar style to JH

Dessy dresses are pretty reasonably priced and they have all different styles.
I used Bari Jay. When I priced them, the quotes I got were so different. If you are in love with the dress, it's worth it to call a few different places. Try Phyllis at Bridal Elegance - her prices are very competitive.

definatley check out bari jay. also get the dress # or whatever of the JH and call rk bridal!!! they have a no frill policy. i priced mine it waas like 90 bucks cheaper.

My girls will most likely be wearing Bill Levkoff..they arent so bad. Plus if I order the BM dresses from the same place I bought my gown, the girls get 20% off theirs
