Bridesmaid Dresses

You guys I am having such a hard time finding the perfect bridesmaid dress! :(

I'm looking for long (to the ground), black, satin dresses that are non-strapless. I've looked at SO SO many and can't find any that I absolutely love.

Any recommendations? Help!

did you look at the BM dresses from Priscilla of Boston.....look at the vineyard and melissa sweet ones

You should look at bestbridalprices.com, they have a huge selection of pics you can look through, then you might have to call around to local shops to see who carries it. Good luck.

I know Davincibridal.com has different types of dresses but they all come with straps that u can take off if they don't want straps. Some of my girls requested straps. Good luck!!!

I am having the same problem!! I can't find THE one. I did find a few that I love, but they cost more than $250 and more then $300, and I don't want to impose that financial burden/obligation onto my BMs.

Don't know if you already tried shopping yet, but... What I did was make a list of a few designers that I like, and I am just going to visit a few stores that carry them to see what the dresses and colors look like in person, and hopefully that will help me figure things out!!!

im having a hard time too but i just came across Impressions BM dresses and there are so many that I like...they seem to have a lot of what ur looking for...long, satin & black...HTH Good LUck

What if instead of limiting to your search to bridesmaid dresses, you looked at evening gowns? Since you want long and black, it shouldn't be hard to find beautiful dresses at a department store.

ETA: Though pricey and not satin, JCrew has some beautiful floor length, black gowns. You can often find them on sale and even on EBay brand new.

Definitely Look at Dessy that are found @ the wedding Plaza on Jericho Tpk and other bridal salons. They have very nice dresses. They were also feature and the NY MAgazine Wedding Expo. I am using one of their dresses for my BMs and the lady at the expo told me it would be under $200. Go to the website (www.dessy.com) other derigners such as Lela Rose can be found at this same website as well.

I'm wearing that dress for my friends wedding in January (in Black) She has girls of all shapes and sizes and it fits PERFECTLY on all of us!

Try DK Bridals in Jamaica, NY, they carry a large selection of BM dresses. They have great prices. And the store manager is super friendly. If you can't afford to buy the dresses, they do rentals also as well as for GM's.
I brought Rampage dresses for my BM's at my wedding and I was so relieved, I found gorgeous dresses at amazingly low prices. I did a bit of research and found out bridal shops (even low-end) charges 100+ for BM dresses. Go with local department brands- Forever 21 has amazing long black satin non-strapless dresses, H&M, BeBe, AX, Macy's, Guess...it's a much more comfortable fit than the lines carried by Bridal retail & shops.

Watters/Wtoo have some really pretty dresses that come in black that have either halter or tank straps. You should also keep in mind that a lot of the strapless dresses come with straps. The straps are typically thin but they are easy to attach. GL!
