So I have a huge BP, 13 Girls and I love them all so much!! I have picked the color of the dresses which is a bright blue and I definitley want long gowns. Here's what Im thinking..
Since the BP is so big to let them all pick the gown of their choice.. What do you ladies think?
I think diff styles in the same length and color would look cool! Plus not everyone likes the same style dress whether it be strapless, halter, cap sleeve, etc...

That is what I did. We are using royal blue. Designer is Impressions and each girl chose their own dress.

Awesome! Our color is like a royal blue but a little brighter. I think it looks good! I found some pics and liked it a lot

What my consultant said to me was, imagine your wedding pictures with this. would you be happy with them? will all the different styles make the pics too busy? It is your choice and I am sure whatever you pick will look beautiful that day!!!!!!

yeah as long as thecolor is the same .. db had alot of great syles n that whole mix bottom with top thing =)

that was my original idea but with the color i'm picking, i was limited with the # of dresses that were in yellow and in chiffon (that i liked). so now i'm doing same for all BMs and MOH's get a diff one. But if you can pull it off, i say go for it@!!

I say go for it... check with the salon though to see how many are in that color... try to have your girls order at the same time or at least not at all 13 different times because then they will be in the same dye batch...

Personally, I like consistency but on the other hand I agree that not everyone looks good in the same style of your dress. Have you thought about running it by your girls and see what they think?

I would let them get different styles, as long as the material and color are the same (and preferabbly from the same designer since colors can be off - even black)

Sorry girls, just thought I'd help if I can since our wedding is over (mixed feelings).
Anyway, I did this! It was the BEST decision I made with the wedding. I had 7 girls and ALL different body types. I told them all black, same designer, and same material. Everyone looked GREAT! PLUS, no one could really complain about the price or the dress since they picked them out! One less thing I had to worry about.
I love the photos I've seen of that! We were going to do that too, but I wasnt planning on going with one specific designer so then we were afraid that the colors wouldnt match. But if you pick a designer so the fabric is all the same color I think it would look great!

You girls are the best!! Thank you!!! I just want them all to be happy and comfortable with the dress they will have on all day so I thought it would be better to let them pick the dress they like..At least they will all be long gowns and the same color
