bridesmaid dresses
I don't know why I am having such a hard time picking out bridesmaid dresses. I cant even pick a color! So let me ask you, our wedding is in the beginning of October. We are doing fall colors with a rustic, outdoorsy feel. My dress is ivory lace, pic is in my album. Chiffon or satin? I can't decide and my maids are no help at all. I actually wish they had an opinion. Opinions please.

I personally don't like chiffon. I feel like satin is just nicer. While orange is my favorite color not everyone looks good in it but Brown or a wine color is flattering.

I personally don't like satin. But that is particularly for my ideal wedding, which is in the spring/summer, and it would be too hot for satin. But for an October wedding, even with an outdoorsy theme, satin would be perfect!! If you're set on doing one color, what about a champagne? Bill Levkoff and Jim Hjelm have really beautiful champagne colors.

I originally wanted a burnt orange but everything was just too orangey. The champagne is to close to my dress color. I was looking at wine or cranberry today. Im swaying more towards the satin, I think I just needed some reassurance. Im not usually this wishy washy.

I've been to two weddings where the dresses were wine/cranberry. Its a gorgeous color.

I'm getting married the week after you & my girls are wearing navy chiffon dresses. I personally don't like satin at all, so we only looked at chiffon. (And I'm wearing lace).

I like chiffon better. I feel like satin is very unforgiving and can really accentuate the worst parts of any girls body.A lot of the October brides I know this year are doing a navy dress.
I also have a friend who got married in early november and did a claret color with a champagne sash. it was lovely and i'm not a big fan of reds.

http://www.billlevkoff.com/style/bridesmaid-dress/325 this is in chocolate. In wine would be pretty also. I love your dress. Since yours is long and fitted, maybe put your girls in short so you stand out more

Personally I like satin better. As for fall bridesmaid dress colors I like orange and brown. I'm getting married the same weekend!! I decided on a dark truffle brown
with champagne accent (pic in album)!

I just did my bridesmaids dresses this weeekend. Feels great, LOL. I did more of a royal blue and since we are getting married in November, I was thinking about working some orange into the flowers. The dresses are also chiffon, and fit everyones body type perfectly : ) We were in and out in about an hour. Everyone was so happy with what I picked. I wanted to do a cranberry/wine originally but my SIL did sangria for my brothers wedding so I decided to go with my fav color which is blue.

We are getting married on a Sunday afternoon so I was going to have the bridesmaids in shorter dresses, around tea length. I feel like the shorter chiffon dresses look a bit young. But I'm still not sold on satin. UrggggWelcome New Vendors
