Bridesmaid dresses Question?

Bridesmaid dresses Question?

So my bridesmaid dresses originally needed to be ordered my Thanksgiving so they come in plenty of time before the wedding. I gave everyone advance timing and not everyone has ordered the dress yet.
How would I go about telling them in a nice way that they need to order the dress now? Because I really want to make sure they come in time. I don't want to be a pain in the neck, but I did give everyone a heads up way in advance. Any advice would be great. TIA!!

Re: Bridesmaid dresses Question?

I already picked out my BM dresses but no one has ordered them yet. I told them I would start hounding them about 6-8 months out but they told me if the designer decides to discontinue the dress they would HAVE to purchase right away. Tell them they have to order cause they are discontinuing your dress!!
Good luck!

I would just tell them straight out that you dont want to hound them but dresses need to be ordered by X date since it's already later than you wanted them ordered in the first place.

I would send out an email to the group and let them know the deadline. I would say 'Just a friendly reminder' or something to that effect.

I told them that they had to order by a specific date for the dresses to come in on time. Then a few days before I texted them everyday and said that they would have to pay rush order if they were late.

How many haven't ordered? I had two left and also said by Thanksgiving. One I went with this weekend and while I was there I texted the other saying I'm here and the store needs your measurements today so they can submit the order.

I would just tell the girls that the bridal shop called you since you are past the deadline. However, I think you have plenty of time for the dresses to come in....my wedding is the week after yours, and I am going to set early January as the deadline.

Only 2 haven't ordered their dresses, but I told everyone about this in September.

Re: Bridesmaid dresses Question?

The reason why I need it early is that I have 2 people in the bridal party that go away to school, so the dresses need to come in before they go back to school so they can get alterations. That's why it needs to be done now.

I would just remind them... I know I have to stay on top of 1 of my 4 BMs or she would never get anything done!
