Bridesmaid dresses the same color but

different shades, different material, different necklines, different silhouettes, different waistline, different straps?

pretty much different everything, im
picturing royal blue or summery yellow with a different color shoe.

What do we think? yeah or nah

thats what my girls are doing- same color (and material) and same designer, but different styles if they want.

I like that ides. It is more like having a theme for the brides maids!!!! I am doing the same color but all the dresses will be different.

id stick to same material and same color...

otherwise it might not look like a bridal party IMHO

I picked navy blue and im letting the girls pick their dresses- just have to be all the same length

i think different materials mighttt work, but id have to see it together...

but its YOUR day so do what makes you happy!

agreed. i think this is what i'm going to do as well.

im a much bigger fan of this look, same color ( i prefer same length) and different style!! They don't really stand out from the guest the other way.

when i was BM for my friends wedding, she wanted us to pick whatever we wanted, however, the lady at the dress place told us that if we got different materials the photos would come out bad.. like if one was satin and one was matte, one dress would shine while the other was dull and it makes the photo look weird

I'm doing my maid of honor different and all of my bridesmaids the same. But they will all be the same color by the same designer.
