Can't decide what material on the bridesmaid dresses.. I'm going to most likely go with a bright purple color, and put each girl in a different dress..but do I do chiffon or satin? Help!! My dress is dupoini silk (which is a mixture of silk and taffeta) and it's a a-line ball gown.

I prefer chiffon... you don't want the BM dresses to out shine yours and I think chiffon is more comfortable (I've worn both as a BM)

I'm going with chiffon because my dress is all lace. I feel like dupoini silk could be paired with either one!

I prefer chiffon. Satin can look kinda shiney depending on the color. Take a look at the color u like in both materials and see what you like best.

I am also on the fence between satin and chiffon. My dress is satin and I think satin is more fancy and elegant than chiffon. On the other hand, chiffon is much more romantic and is better suited for different body types.
I told my BMs that they can pick between chiffon or satin, but all dresses have to be made of the same material. The colors vary between fabrics. I picked the length (long), color (3 in Plum, 2 in Wisteria), and the fabric needs to match. They can pick the style.

I think I am going to do chiffon. I think it will turn out nicer in pictures and I want the girls to be comfortable. Satin might be too heavy for my June wedding...chiffon I think will be lighter and breezier! (Better to dance in too!!!! )
