Bridesmaid Frustration/Vent

I told my girls in Sept that they had to order their dresses by the end of the year which would have been Sunday because the bridal store is closed the week between Christmas and New Year. Out of 5 girls the only one that has went is my MOH. The store now said that the 8th of Jan is the latest before we run into express shipping. Im trying not to worry about it till the Jan deadline but Im a little upset because they knew since Sept so it wasnt like I sprung it on them. I even told them that if their was a financial issue let me know and Ill put the money down. Whenever something comes up for me I always take care of it and dont put it on the back burner so I guess I think other people should be respectful and if I said the deadline was a certain date then they should have been there to get measured.I cant even imagine what a nightmare the RSVP's are going to be Good thing I have a wedding planner to handle that

i had a BIG problem with this too.. ultimately it all worked out and everyone got their orders in on time.. but it was literally down to the last day.

it is so frustrating i know.. i hope it all works out for you!

I had a huge problem too... To the point where I ordered all the dresses for them and said deal w the size you have.

Ugh, frustrating!!! I am too much of a control freak to leave it in their hands. I ordered all of their dresses, paid for them, and they will give me the money when the dresses come in.

I told a bridesmaid to come on Saturday to get measured for a dress... and hour nd a half later she still wasnt there so I texted her and asked her where she was... SHE WAS BLOW DRYING HER HAIR. Ugh some girls just DONT GET IT!!!!

I Made appointments for all 7 of my girls to get done the same day. we have 2 coming in from out of state for the engagement party so I Made all the appointments for the day after and told them all to be there at noon. Didn't really give them an option, LOL.

Hope all your girls get in before your deadline!

My MOH is in Arizona but the moment I mentioned designers I liked about 5 months ago, she found shops in her area that sold them. She awesome! But we just recently found out the my FSIL (BM) will be about 7 months pregnant for my wedding.

Ugh I had the same problem too. I gave them a binder with dress choices and bridal stores in their area that carry them (since most of my girls are out of state) 2 of my bridesmaids were great and ordered them right away. My 2 MOHs that live in NY waited until the last minute and my other bridesmaid who I thought ordered her dress texted me a month ago that she would be home for Thanksgiving and we can go order her dress then. Hello, I thought you ordered it in September!!!!!!! But I bit my tongue kept calm and she had to pay express shipping
