Bridesmaid gifts

I'm torn on bridesmaid gifts. I wanted to go with a purple theme because that's one of the colors in the wedding. Here are the options I was considering:

Longchamp tote (large) in deep purple

Or

Coach makeup case in deep purple filled with a few things (just not sure what to put in it...maybe purse size perfume?)


What would you prefer or suggest?

Both of those ideas are cute! I love Longchamp! ... As long as your girls would use a purple longchamp bag I'd say go for it (I know some people are picky when it comes to bags). The makeup case is cute too because you can fill it with small goodies that everyone can use!

I like the tote idea, but the make up bag is good too. I got a personalized make up bag as a gift from a friend's wedding I was in and I love it, use it to travel all the time. I'd fill the case with perfume or maybe a lip gloss for the day of the wedding.

I love the idea of the longchamp bag! If you still want to do makeup bags too I suggest checking out the Knot that had a great deal for small makeup bags with monograms not to long ago. They were pretty cheap too.
