bridesmaid gifts - how much?

Just wondering how much I should pay for bridesmaid gifts and if it's okay to give just one maybe two things?
I'm struggling financially and but wanted to give something nice to my two BRs. Need suggestions!

spend whatever you can afford! check out vendors on here. one vendor has really nice jewelry at a good price, and cheaper the more you buy. cjb designs? something like that.

Is it Ok to get different things for different BM's? I have one BM who is not in the best financial situation, and I was thinking of buying her her dress, but getting more traditional gifts for the rest of the girls. I wouldn't let the other girls know because it would embarass her. does that sound OK?

That sounds good and your friend will really apreciate your help b/c is a way of showing her that it really is important that she is part of your wedding party.
