Bridesmaid, Groomsman Ratio

Hi Ladies,

I need some advice. Currently, I have 3 bridesmaids including my MOH. 2 out of the 3 are out of town (my sister and FH sister) and are unavailable to participate in any events such as a bridal shower or bachelorette party.
It's been making me really sad because I feel like I won't be getting the real bridal experience. Is this silly? I was talkin to FH about adding another bridesmaid but he only has 2 groomsman. i think it'll look really weird with 5 people on one side and 3 on the other.

Is anyone else going through this?? I can't get this out of my mind.

Aweeeee, you can share my Bach party!!!
I have 6bm he has 7gm we a bit off balanced.
Honestly end of the day no one counting. But I wouldn't add just to add. And I understand every bride deserves the full exp but even if u only share it with a few people its just as special as long it's with people you love.

I don't have the same amount on both sides. FH has 5 guys and I have 3 girls. No one will notice or care. Only involve the people you want and will make you happy.

I have 7 bridesmaids and 9 groomsmen. One or two more on one side of pictures does not make a total difference, I've seen it done many times. But in the end do what makes you happy!

You can do whatever you want...it won't look weird.

I have less BM than GM...but I wouldn't throw in extra girls just because you are scared of BM involvement in stuff.

They should be able to help even if they are out of town...don't worry!

I only have 1 MOH and 1 bridesmaid and Fh has 6 GMs total. I don't really mind that it's uneven because I want to be comfortable on the day of my wedding, crying and freaking out and walking around in my underwear (or whatever lol)and these are the only 2 girls I would be comfortable doing that with. That being said my BM is OOT so I'm in the same situation as your there.... I just feel bad for my MOH for having to do everything by herself!

I have 6 BM and FH only has 4 GM. Although I'd love for it to be even, I am not worried because these are the special people in our life.

We are also uneven. We have 5 girls and 4 guys. I dont think its a big deal. I would not add people just to make it even.

I think I;m going to add my friend as a bridesmaid. I wanted her part of the party of but I was afraid it'll look weird. I feel better knowing a lot of people have uneven parties!
