Bridesmaid Hair Question

Are you guys making you bridesmaids wear their hair a certain was, nothing crazy but like all up or all down? I'm thinking I want them to wear there hair back since I am planning on wearing my hair down... am I being bridezilla?

I'm asking the girls to all have their hair up because I like when all the hair is one way. I don't think it's bridezilla.

I am asking the girls to have their hair up. Whether its a bun or a french roll. I told them they can even do a ponytail.

Im not a bridezilla but I plan on having my hair down in curls so I told them hair up

Yeah, that was going to be my question, for the girls who are requesting that their bridesmaids wear their hair a certain way, are you paying to have it done?

I cant decide on this-- I want them to be happy with their hair but I also want to stand out. I will be paying for their hair and make up, but I think im going to let them choose.

Coming from a girl with really curly thick long hair, if someone told me to wear it a certain way, then they better pay for it, because i know it would cost well over 100 bucks to get my hair up since it won't stay easily....just my opinion!

you dont have to pay for it, but you might as well b/c everyone will get a better deal if the girls are coming to your house.

Ditto. I personally don't think its right to tell people exactly how to wear their hair, but I think just suggesting that it be up still gives them some freedom to do different up styles.

girls who are paying for their bridesmaid's hair, are you counting this towards your total 'gift' to them? I read somewhere an average amount to give as a bridesmaid gift is around 100/150. So if each girl's hair cost 70, are you counting that towards their total?

I'm matching my girls 50 towards their hair and they pay the other 50. I'm spent 150 per BM and 250 per MOH plus their hair. But you have to do what you are comfortable with and what you budgeted for.

i just want my bridesmaids to feel good about how they look. i know some people have certain hairstyles they feel look better on them than others... so whatever they want is fine by me!

I asked the girls to have it pulled off their face either all up or half up because pics are on the beach that's why I'm matching all of them 50 for hair
