Bridesmaid Help!

So I am short a bridesmaid and I want to ask another friend of mine. But she lives out of state!! How do I get her to order the dress? Have her to a bridal place there and have everything done there and bring it up with her? What if the dress doesn't match?

Just looking for what you all think?

She can get professionally measured at a bridal salon near where she lives, then call the measurements (and her credit card number) up to the bridal store where your girls are ordering the dresses from up here.
When the dress comes in it can be shipped down to her so she can do her alterations by her.

exactly. that is what I'm doing. I have a BM in Hawaii

My sister lives in CA. What I did was...she got get measurements taken at a local dry cleaners...I gave the measurements to the dress place...they looked on the chart and ordered her dress. I am going out there b4 the wedding and will take it to her and she will get it altered. I would not order it seperate b/c of the fact the colors may be SLIGHTLY off. But its not too bad of a problem. Same thing with out of state groomsmen. Just get their measurements and take it to the tux place!
