bridesmaid luncheon

Hi ladies are any of you doing this & if so when do you do it & what is the purpose - i just want to make sure that i do it at the right time. Thanks!

Yeah, I'd love to know too! I was thinking more of taking them all out to dinner to introduce them all. Is that what you ladies are doing?

you can do it at any point, but i think a nice time to do it would be maybe if you have them all together to pick out the dresses and then go out to lunch/dinner after... just basically thanking them for being in the BP..

I plan on hosting a dinner at my house to formally ask the girls to be my bridesmaids. I have a little gift to give to them as well. I may hold one or two more similar get togethers as the preparation continues and we have more things to do together.

I had a luncheon to ask the girls to be in my wedding about 3 weeks ago! I have heard of brides having a luncheon for the bridesmaids before the wedding, I think I am going to have a BBQ with the bridesmaids / groomsmen a month or so before the wedding

I think I'm just going to invite my BM's over for dinner before the wedding and give them their gifts.

all my girls knew each other since it was my sister, SIL and cousin, but i did take everyone out for late lunch/early dinner after we picked out and order the BM dress. I also had them over to my place for horderves to give them their gifts about a month before the wedding, b/c we didn't have a rehearsal.

Around the holidays maybe i'll have a holiday dinner for them or go out to eat or something. out of the 6.. 2 know each other from elementary school but haven't seen each other since we were like.. 12, 2 others know each other and we are all friends, FSIL knows no one, and my sister has met 3 of the other girls once or twice but that's all.

All of my girls already knew each other, but I did take them out to lunch after the first time we all went dress shopping together.

most of my bm's know eachother but my mom took everyone out to lunch after they got measured.

I did it. All my Bms knew each other so I did it about 2 mos before wedding. If they didn't know each other I would have done it on the day we went to get our dresses

Thats exactly what I plan on doing. I think i might do brunch.

Since I have officially finished asking them all to be in my bridal party, I am having them over my house for a girl's night so that they can get to know each other better. I think I'll have another get together around Christmas and then a brunch a month or so before the wedding.

im having one to ask my bm's formally to be in my bp ill prob be doing it sometime this summer

I'm going to take them all out closer to the wedding... maybe a couple of months before. We'll relax, eat, have some drinks and I'll give the girls their gifts.
