I just found out one of my bridesmaids are pregnant. Not only is she pregnant but she is pregnant with Twins!!!! I am so excited for her because she was having a hard time. Now Dress quesion. She is due in May. Should she just order a bigger dress and then once she has the babies get it sized or should I make all the girls wait till after she has them to pick out there dress??

Your best bet is to ask the place where you are ordering your BM dresses from. I'm sure they encounter this same thing all the time.

I would say about 9 mnths or so before-I am getting married a year from tday and I am going at the end of the month-only because one of my girls is from out of state ( and she is preggers too)
You should be fine going after she has the baby-

BM dresses typically take 3-5 months to come in. I ordered Lazaro dresses from BR in Carle Place and it took approximately 3 months to come in. Most girls only need 1-2 fittings for their dress, the last fitting being more of a final pick-up. Makre sure the dresses arrive at least 1 month before the wedding so everyone has plenty of time to get fitted. If you order the dresses 6 or 7 months in advance you should be fine. Just to be on the safe side, if you have an idea of the dress or designer you want, find out which salons carry them and ask how far in advance you should order the dresses.

I would definitely ask the bridal dress place... see what they say. Just make sure the dress will arrive on time for fittings and everything is its ordered in May!! If so...wait... you will be fine!!

If you KNOW what dresses they are going to be wearing I would ask them. I would be afraid that I would change my mind a hundred times between now and then-Which I definitely will-but if you arent indecisive like me then just see what they think would be the best thing for her to do.

congrats to your bridesmaid! I think you should wait too until she has the twins...because you have plenty of time to order the dresses. We ordered our dresses in mid March for my friend's August wedding and we got our dresses in July. So I think you'll have enough time.

first I would definitely ask the place where you are ordering the dresses from. I am sure they have dealt with this situation before. Or you can always order her a larger size and then have them take it in as she loses her baby weight
