Bridesmaid Present Vote : Jessica and Danielle Don't come in! CHANGED Question, please help!
New Question: BM sweatshirt with initial, but no BM written on back? Or BM with name and BM on back.
Sorry to be a pain, but I can't decide!!!!!
I bought all my girls the Elsa Perreti Medium heart necklace:
I recently had this sweatshirt made and everyone went crazy over it:
I am deciding between, 1. Giving them that necklace and a sweatshirt that says Bridesmaid on the back and their inital on the front 2. Giving them that necklace and a sweatshirt that says Bridesmaid on the back and their NAME on the front 3. Returning the necklace for theSMALLheart and using the money back to pay for the sweatshirt
Which do you prefer and would number 3 be a selfish thing to do since they can't use the sweatshirt after the wedding?

I wouldn't do #3 for he exact reason you stated BTW... I love the elsa peretti designs....great choice!

I agree with HearzBellz. If you need to pick only one I'd keep the necklace. I'm sure they will love the sweatshirts but the necklace will be a nicer keepsake once the wedding is over.

Definitely keep the necklace!!! I absolutely love it and I am thinking of similar for my own bridesmaids!!!

Thanks guys! I had a feeling I was just getting cheap b/c bills are starting to come in for the wedding...
R&T- the newlywed sweatshirt or the BM sweatshirt? Or Both?, not that it matters, but just curious...
To claify:
The BM sweatshirt is for the rehearsal dinner and day of.
THe newlywed sweatshirt is for the next day party. I'm also going to have a white Soon To BE sweatshirt made for the rehearsal and day of. And to add, I bought the sweatshirt and the took it to Embroidery Shop on Commack Rd. in Commack. I think it was $10 a line of text, much cheaper then Things Remembered.

The necklace is beautiful!~!~ I am sure they will love it.
Also the sweatshirt is ADORABLE~ I love the colors. I would probaly save the money on getting them made for the BP. Maybe you could make on just for the MOH?

For me, the BM sweatshirt. As a BM, I wouldn't wear it after the day of...and that would be a waste of $$$ for you, imo.

I agree with everyone... love the necklace... but I think the sweatshirt would be a waste for just two days... unless you just get their initials on the front and nothing on the back? JMO

Is it the sweatshirt idea itself or is it ANYTHING with BM on it? I also liked Susans Bridal crew shirts... Now I'm really curious b.c I never heard a negative comment about them before

I think for a bride, it's cute - b/c we're all wrapped up in the moment of it. As a BM, while I think it's cute...I just wouldn't wear it past the day. That's jmo.
I think the sweatshirt with the initial on the front, as someone suggested, would be cute as well and something that I would wear again.

Who cares if you are never going to wear the sweatshirt again???? Just like they are never going to wear the BM DRESS again either. I think it is a cutre idea and if they are reasonably priced I would definately do it!

ETS: I wear sweatshirts around the house all the time (I have some specific 'house' sweatshirts, so as long as it fit me right/was comfy, I personally would use that more than the necklace). I am not a jewelry person and would probably not use that other than the wedding.
Different strokes ... I think if you are concerned about a $$ crunch, do what you can afford.

I vote just give the necklace. Only you know your bms best - is it something they would like?
Also you mention that they would wear it at your RD? What type of dinner are you having? I wouldn't wear a sweatshirt to a nice restaurant or want to cover my outfit.
btw - I can't decide on that necklace for my bms or her alphabet ones...

Just my $.02. Please no one take offense.
I would prefer not to have a sweatshirt. They are pretty but wouldnt be used as much as the jewerly. How often would I want to go out with something that said 'Bridesmaid'?
Maybe it's just me but not often. It's not practical for me.
And.. (IM REALLY SORRY FOR SAYING THIS BUT ITS TRUE) well..... it's like saying I was second best.. 'always the bridesmaid....'
