Honestly, my bridesmaids aren't happy for me, complain about everything, don't help and just make my wedding planning difficult when it should be happy and exciting!! What makes it worse is that my bridesmaids are my family and my FSIL. My saving grace is my maid of honor (my best friend) who does everything and is putting so much time and money into our wedding. So of course I'm going to do something nice for her.
I see so many people going above and beyond for their bridesmaids and idk what to do. I'm going to pay for half of their makeup and I'm buying them necklaces. I bought them lipgloss and lotion frm Victoria's Secret. I was going to get a cute wristlet fromCoach they could use the day of and stuff, but I really feel like why should I spend so much on them when they act like my wedding is no big deal to them and they've complained every step of the way?? What do you ladies think?

I would do alot for the bridesmaids personally- luckily, your MOH is the one doing alot, so you can be justified in going above and beyond for her and getting her extra gifts. If any of the bridesmaids ask, say that traditionally, the MOH gets a little extra for planning alot of stuff.
I was my sister's MOH, and her bridal party ******. They never emailed me back when planning stuff, and they all gave me grief for giving them jobs for the bridal shower- like asking if one girl could put together the favors, if one could keep track of who bought what, etc. and they never gave me money on time for shower and bachelorette stuff. So, my sister gave them a necklace, a framed picture of them with her, and one of those willow figurine thingys. She got me ALOT extra, and nobody even said a word. They probably didn't even care lol

Ughh that stinks. I know how you feel kinda. I had similar situation. Not that they were rude but they really never offered to help. They did come to one of my dress shopping day. My shower was never planned so my DH had to set the wheels in motion then my bm's stepped up to help with the shower. My bachelorette party was a diaster. I had to cancel our AC trip bc of Hurricane Irene then rescheduled and only 1 bm showed up and 3 friends. I paid for myself since no one offered. Planning a wedding was not fun for me & it was very stressful. Thank god my husband was there for me and helped out. Don't know what I would do without him. I would do something nice for your MOH since she is the only one helping out. Good luck!

You should definitely do something special for your MOH, since she has been so helpful. Since the others have not really helped, I doubt they expect you to go out of your way for them. You could get the wristlet only for your MOH, I think the other stuff you're doing for your BMs is more than enough

Aww sorry you're dealing with this. I would get my MOH something special for being there for you with everything and I doubt our other BMs would be mad about that. I think what you got your BMs is very nice and is plenty. Good luck with everything!

This! I also think you are doing enough for them and would be justified in only going the extra mile for your MOH. Sorry!
