Bridesmaid Wrap Help!!

Girls here is a link to my bridemaid dresses---They are going to be in bourdeaux, and I need to get the girls a wrap or something as the wedding is in February. Of course, the girls can wear their coats as my Southern Belles may freeze, but I wanted to get them some sort of wrap---What would go w/this dress??? Suggestions--Please!!!

Have you thought of a pashmina...maybe in a cream color? Not sure of the rest of your decor, flowers, etc. I had a wrap for a wedding I was in that matched the dress and I HATED it! It was very hard to keep it on my shoulders and hold my bouquet at the same time. and I can assure you I will never use it again. At least they can get some use out of a pashmina and it's warm. Or maybe you can look for shrugs?

Good luck!

I'm getting my girls Pashmina's from Cashmere Company. Take a look at the site, they have a ton of colors, but I think cream might be nice and neutral.

What color shoes are they wearing? My girls wore black shoes with their bordeaux dresses (last fall) and I bought them black wraps - that can be re-used - got them at Macys!

PS I didn't require the girls to wear them - actually they all planned together to all take them off for pictures or all keep them on (mostly off). The only wore them when they were cold outside and inside.

Thanks!! Well----The bridemaids don't have to wear the wrap during the ceremony--I just want them to have it in case they get cold at the reception, so they don't have to put a coat on---

FYI----i tld them to get whatever shoes they thought looked good, and so far everyone has bought shoes the same color as the dress. There boquets will be cream, light pink, and black magic roses.

Can't help you with the wrap. Just wanted to say the BM dress is beautiful. The pashmina sounds like a good idea & can be your gift to them. Saves having to think of a good BM gift. I know I'd love to get one.

My girls are also wearing bordeux and my wedding is also in feb! I am getting them cream colored pashminas. They can wear in between when it is chilly. It is a perfect gift to waer over again. I am either getting them on cashmerecompany.com or shawlsetc.com. the lady on shawls is having a huge sale on faux pashminas. they are fake but feel almost real. One bride on here swears by this website!! and she is charging $19.95!!! I have a lot of girls so i am probably going with that.

Curious= what color shoes are you having girls wear with bordeux. I was thinking of matching b/c i wasnt sure about black.

Lord and Taylor Clearance Center in Levittown on Hempstead Turnpike has a whole section of wraps that used to cost $$-$$$ and now cost $. I was looking there myself and noticed a lot a sheer wraps, but I don't think that my MOH will need one during the day in Aug. Everything there is 50% off the ticket and you can use L&T coupons too! They have some good stuff if you are X-mas shopping as well...

You could always order extra fabric and have a wrap made to match the dress. I am ordering extra fabric from netbride to make a dress for my junior bm, but I think you can also order from a bridal shop.
