Bridesmaids

With hair, makeup, shoes, accesories, and the dress...how much on average is everyone BM's are spending?

not sure about mine since dresses not picked out yet but for one i am in in June- approx $400-$500 for dress, shoes, hair, makeup, accessories

Geez I dont even want to add that up, it's probably so high....I'd say $300-400

I dont know yet either but I know I spent close to 1K for my cousins wedding ( I was a BM) and that was in '05

I have to admit - I was pretty annoyed b/c that is a lot of money for me, but I love my cousin so I didn't say anything.

It all depends... are you including expenses like the bridal shower and bachelorette party? If so the amount really jumps. I would say I've spent about $500 on dress, shoes, hair, makeup and mani/pedi for a wedding. BUT if you factor in bridal shower and bachelorette party, the amount probably triples.

Before showers and bachelorette parties, I would say about 600, but that includes hair, makeup and accessories

Im not sure. I just know that i want any of my BM's to spend 300 just on a dress! Thats ridiculous. So im trying to find some that arein the 150 range. Then with hair m/u accessories im sure it will it be around 3/4 hundred. UNFORTUNATELY

I have no idea... I've looked at certain things online and with 5 girls, it usually is around the $400 price range... but we'll see

I'm not having a big shower, so they dont have to chip in for that (i quickly changed my mind after having to shell out all this money for my friend whos getting married in Oct of this year)

They can do their own makeup and hair, go to a salon whatever they want.

And Im hoping not to make the dresses more than 200.

and the bachelorette party? We're just bar hopping

Well the Dresses we chose are about $170 and between shoes and hair ( I told them the makeup is optional and I am taking care of most of their accessories), I would say approx. $300
