Bridesmaids..

I need some cute ideas how to ask my girls to be in my bridal party ..

Im having my best friend as my MOH my cousin and step sister... i may possibly have one more friend in too havent fully decided.

How did you girls ask?

The only one thats been asked is my best friend but through a text so that was LAMEEEEEE lol

I am so bad at this stuff... the other day my sister and I were texting about BM dresses and I wrote that she can wear a different dress than the BM's because she is my MOH.... she said she was in tears when she wrote back because she was so happy and excited!

I felt so bad I didn't do it face-to-face

SO, I am going for a different approach with the BM's... I am thinking of a picture frame with a pic of both of us and a little note or poem in the frame... but that might get

I'll probably do it soon b/c they're all excited and looking at dresses & stuff on their own. I wanted to wait til the holidays were over and we were about a year and a half out but they're already in planning mode..I guess I better move it!

Yeah I think im hurting peoples feelings by not asking.. my step sister was like 'umm so am i gonna be in youre bridal party' i was like 'umm do you realize I have over 19 months til i get married'

I know... but I am still trying to decide with mine! It's not easy... I have a huge family!

I got engaged in June, I asked in August, and I felt that was a long time for me to wait...thats because i wanted to keep it VERY small (my cousin, his sister, my best friend) and i KNEW that if I waited, id wind up hurting people who assumed they were in it!



There really is no time frame :)

although, our families thought i did it WAY too soon and that i should have waitied till a year before

but then again they think im doing everything too early ha

I was told by a bunch of people to wait bc you might not want these people in ur bridal party when it gets closer OR you wont be friends with them anymore.


The only reason I did ask already was bc everyone we asked is FAMILY. except for 1 guy who is FHs friend from elementary school & FH is in his bridal party

I got them each a little personalized card from etsy (in my album!) and I'm gona get them each a manicure gift cert. to put inside
