I just found out the date of mine and started to spread the word and one of mine has a wedding that day. I'm obviously not going to tell her not to go to a wedding but I'm still kind of upset.

not all of mine came to mine, cuz 3 of my bm's live oot. but when i had my shower in rochester (where they're from) those 3 bm's came to that shower.
well what time is ur shower and what time is the wedding? maybe she can go to ur shower then still make it to the reception too...

Two of my BM's werent there. One of them couldnt get off of work (shes a hairdresser but I saw her anyway because she did my hair and makeup for it) ...

A FUKCING NO SHOW!!! COULD YOU BELIEVE THAT?!? AND THEN I DIDNT HEAR FROM HER UNTIL THE NEXT DAY WHICH WAS MOTHERS DAY AND SHE SENT ME A TEXT SAYING HAPPY MOTHERS DAY (I HAVE A DOG) ...
THEN WHEN I SAID 'YEAH, WE MISSED YOU YESTERDAY' SHE SENT BACK 'IM SO SICK'

Yeah.. Im really hurt about it. My twin sister (MOH) thinks she probably just forgot .. why would you ever send a Happy Mothers Day text instead of an Im so sorry I missed your shower, I was sick .. or the day of call up and say youre not going to make it .. but a no show. Come on ...

yea well, she hasn't been into being a bm at all. if i could go back and not ask her, i would! my dad says it's bc she's not excited about wearing a dress (she's a lesbian and i don't think i've ever seen her wear a dress). sorry excuse. she could have said no.

From what I know all olf them will be there even my OOT BM's. Because they mentioned picking up their dresses while they were here for it.

she bought the dress and didn't say anything to me about being uncomfortable with it so no, absolutely not.

Im confused as to how some pple can be special enough to be included in the bridal party and then not make it for the actual shower
Unless someone is really far OOT or has such an important job thats just ridiculous. Im sorry some people kinda s*ck--and for the girl who got a text the next day --her a$$ would not be standing next to me on my wedding day!!!
