How far in advance should they be ordered?

I am ordering mine in August when my bridal gown comes in. My wedding is in April. I figure it will take 12-14 weeks to get so that means they will get the dresses sometime in November. I think 4 months ahead of time is not too early, right?

I am not sure. I just don't want to feel silly if I ask the girls too early.

I ordered mine in May, about 4 1/2 months before the wedding, but that was cutting it a little close.

It took exactly 4 months for my BM dresses to come in.
