any thoughts on good bridesmaid dress designers?! i could use help!! i have 8 bridesmaids, a maid of honor and a mini maid of honor (shes only 8, my sister and wanted a big position ;) ) Every girl is literally shaped completely diff, from being short to tall, heavy and thin big busted lil bust. I need a designer who does a gret dress that will be great on all the girls. I will change the tops to the dresses if needed (eg straps for the girls with too big of a chest to wear strapless!) but i want the same style, and something just a slight bit diff for the maid and mini maid of honor (maybe just the sash different or something)
any ideas? THANX!!!!!!!!

Re: bridesmaids dresses
Alfred Angelo makes great dresses in a TON of colors. There's also a ton of options for separates as well.

Re: bridesmaids dresses
This is my BM's gowns but they are in a clover color with an ivory sash. This picture does it no justice , b/c It flatters everyone! It has pleats in the front and it hits JUST below the waist, so it looks amazing on everyone. I have girls from size 0- size 20 and everyone loves it.
I would check out Bill Levcoff , however you spell it haha, I love his stuff. and Jim Hjelm. Also check out Alfred angelo, you can mix and match and they are decently priced.

While at RK Bridals, we were trying on totally different designs and designers. We were getting ready to leave when I just happened to have spotted this on the racks. I pulled it off and had the girls try it on. Everyone LOVED it. Even the girls who were a bit heavier, it seemed to fit everyone so well. It is an Alexia II fashion. http://www.alexiadesigns.com/main/alexia_II.php?paged=2
that is the website. :)

Re: bridesmaids dresses
thank you so much! you are such a help! where is RK Bridal? and how much did the dress run for? I have to keep my bridesmaids budget as low as possible cuz they r throwing me a destination bachelorette party, and i know the expenmses there will be intense.

RK Bridals is in Manhattan. Really easy to get to. RK Bridals has a 'no frills' program. Which means, you buy the dress cheaper, get it measured and altered somewhere else. You basically just buy the dress from them. This dress was $105 I believe. or $115. somewhere around there. One of the girls had the hem done and the top taken in and it cost her about $100. So I don't know if you want to look for a cheaper seamstress, but I am just telling you what I know.
