Bridesmaids dresses

I am getting married in august and I was wondering how much time is needed to order bridesmaids dresses?

For my June wedding, I was told my girls should order their dresses no later than January 1.

for my wedding i was told to do it before the holidays... 6 months is good, but since the factories close down for the holidays they told me it was safer to to before than to risk doing it after!

BM dresses will take no more than 2-3 months to come in. They are really quick. I even had a few problem with ours, and they were remade (in China) and delivered in less than 2 weeks!

If you order too much earlier than 3-4 months, your style preference or even color choice might change. Plus, your BMs will be happy you didn't ask them to lay out the money so far in advance.

Plus, if you order 6 months before your wedding, the dresses will come in and sit for 3 months b/c they can't alter them so far out.

I am getting married July 31st and we are going for BM dresses in January. 6 months is plenty of time!

for my april wedding, I was told te dresses should be ordered no later than December. I got Bari Jay dresses, but I told my girls to order them by November; I thought December was a little too late.
