bridesmaids dresses
For those of you who have already picked out bridesmaids dresses... How much do they cost? I love the convertible dresses from TwoBirds ( http://twobirdsbridesmaid.com/collection/classic/) but they are about $300 each! I need a style that will complement different body sizes and shapes that's why I like the convertible dress idea.

I decided to do one designer all the same color and the girls picked their own dress. Bill Levkoff has amazing chiffon dresses that are super flattering for any body type. We went to Bridal Suite in Centereach and the dresses the girls picked were around $220 each.

I love those convertible dresses but i thought they were too pricey as well. We went to Bridal Reflections but then just took the style number and looked them up online. The dress was $220 in the store but we found it online for around $120.

What online store did you end up buying from? And did you have your girls get measured there as well?

Mine were Bill Levkoff and were marked 2$245 but we are ordering them where I ordered my dress so the woman told me she could do them for $175. You can definitely negotiate a bit.

I did this too from the bridal suite of centereach! They only had 3 choices though, they were $159, $169 & $189, ended costing the heaviest girl $220 for the $169 dress bc of the size she needed. I think around $200 is the average cost.

Re: bridesmaids dresses
We bought them from bridesmaids.com. I measured all the girls and it was pretty accurate. It's a halter style dress so really that is the only thing that needs to be altered for the girls. Some people are hesitant to buy bridesmaid dresses online, I was too. But I was in a wedding that was out of state and ordered my dress online. It worked out perfect and decided to do the same.

I bought one from an etsy shop to try it out myself, and it cost me a grand total of like $70 with shipping included.Link to she shop I used: https://www.etsy.com/shop/craftingsg?ref=l2-shopheader-name
She was great, very helpful, and the dress is gorgeous. I know she does group orders too. Worth looking into!

Wow those prices are much better for the infinity dresses but after reading some horror stories about bridesmaids with DD's who couldn't wear a bra with this type of dress... I'm thinking twice about it lol

I'm going to check these places out!
I am not one to wear cheap clothing, but making my girls spend $200+ on a one time use dress just seems ridiculous to me!

I also checked out Little Borrowed Dress in the city. Cute chiffon dresses that you rent so it is very reasonable! My bff and sister are complete opposite body types, so the fact that you can't alter these dresses, even with diff silhouettes, didn't work for us, but it could be worth checking out for some of you ladies!
