Bridesmaids dresses

Ok! Still no bridal party has gotten their dresses. People can't get the concept that it takes time for the dress to be delivered. They think they can just buy and take their dresses home. I guess my question is how long is the delivery time. And where did you go and how much were the dresses?

If you use david's bridal they are VERY quick! Most of my bridesmaids got their dresses within 2 weeks there. Other places, like smaller salons it takes a few months for them to come in!

Not to worry you, but that's kind of scary at this point. My wedding is about a month before yours, we ordered them right around Thanksgiving, they had said it would take 3 months for the dresses to come in, but they're actually telling me end of April is the estimated arrival date. They said that's just enough time to have all the fittings etc.
You definitely need time for the dresses to come in and then for the alterations too.
We ordered them from Village Bridal in Babylon and the dresses cost around 200.

We did ours online from Weddington way - the dresses were ordered by Jan 31st, and came were delivered on April 1st. The dress cost 149 plus tax, and was 260 at village bridal.

I also called the designer to confirm that Weddington way was an authorized retailer, which they are.

At David's Bridal it depends on the color you choose too. I did alternating colors Plum and Wine, all the Plum dresses are in but the Wine ones were estimated to come in about 6-8 weeks.

It depends on the place. My girls just ordered theirs and the order went in last week. They should be in by September/October.

Yes Village Bridal is right in Babylon, its a pretty big store too. My girls are wearing this dress in champagne though...

French Novelty online has different rush options. They were very helpful for my 2 who waited to order their dresses.

how many bridesmaids do you have? whats the reason for them not going? at this point since you are 2 months out i would drag them all there myself, enough is enough...
