is 7-8 enough time to order bridesmaid dresses? I just spoke to my fsil ( she is 19 in college) I want to make sure she can be there. long story short she had alot going on, after she goes back at the end of Jan sge well only b home 1 wk till the summer. so my question is if July or Aug is ok to go order dresses for the girls for my march wedding?

i was advised by my bridal salon to allow 5-6 months for the dresses to come in. we are going mid-january for my august wedding.

That's plenty of time. My bridesmaids dresses came in less than 4 months. They always tell you order ahead of time to be on the safe side.

I ordered my BM dresses just before the holidays and my promise date is April 28, so 4 months. My wedding is in July.

if the brand/style you want is available, talk to Netbride.com - I got my dresses through them and they got to me within 6 weeks - plus they're much cheaper than retail

I think it would be fine. I'm a BM for my friend's wedding in May and I believe we ordered dresses about 1.5-2 months ago

I was in a bridal party last year and we ordered ours about 8 months before the wedding. It was plenty of time!
