I know this is a silly question, where do the girls' flowers go during the reception? At one wedding i went to they were decorated around the cake table. Now that the wedding is getting closer I find myself worrying about minor (stupid) details!
One more silly question. At some wedding they already have the first course set up before you get into the reception room. where does the menu go ? On top of the food, on the side? Thanks

I know they can also go on the bride and grooms sweetheart table as decoration

I think they can go wherever you want them!!! If you need extra flowers at the cake table or the sweetheart table, this usually works out great!

the flowers can go on the cake table but you will need a bouquet clamp holder for them, your florist can sell you them or you can order them online
as for the menus it depends on your caterers setup of your food choices...as it gets closer to your date your hall should be sitting down with you customizing your style and placement of everything on the table and within the room

my BM's flowers were placed in front of our c-piece on our sweetheart table....you're maitre'd will tell you where they will end up, unless you have a specific request. My friends' had her BM flowers placed on the cake table
