Bridesmaid's Funds

Bridesmaid's Funds

Definitely do not offer to pay! When is your wedding? Allow her to deal with it herself on her own time unless your wedding is next week. Then you can move to 'plan B'...anyone who accepts the invitation to be in a wedding party generally understands that there are expenses involved. Unless we are brides who demand an ultra expensive dress, shoes etc, it is usually a few hundred dollars. I'm sure she is very well aware of that. You can always remove her from the bridal party if need be but I doubt it will come to that. She just sounds like a complainer (as your mother said). The complainer is a personality type that is usually all mouth. Don't let her bring you down, weddings & wedding plans tend to bring out all kinds of behaviors from the people around us. You end up learning a lot about who you can & can't depend on. Hang in there.

Okay if I am getitng married on a Friday evening, does that mean I should stay at a hotel Thursday night ???

Debby, you already are helping them out...the gloves and jewelry...you're helping them ALL out, not just the complainer, so pat yourself on the back for doing that...and do NOT pay for her dress or alterations.
